The National Day of Prayer and Worship is a call to Unity, Prayer, Mission and Transformation across the British Isles. Since 2006, they have been gathering Christians into stadiums and large-scale venues, including Wembley Stadium in 2012. Between 2013 – 2017, NDOPW visited over 400 villages, towns and cities commissioning Christians to be change agents in prayer. In recent years, NDOPW has organised a number of large scale online meetings, with numbers of over 50,000 people taking part.
During Christmas 2023, NDOPW brought together 65 denominations, networks and ministries and hundreds of local churches for the ‘Shine Your Light campaign’. With the backing of the Prime Minister, political figures and many national leaders, the campaign mobilised over 78,000 people onto the streets in the UK and Ireland.
