The MOBO Awards, the UK’s biggest celebration of black music and culture, has revealed the nominees for its 26th edition. The awards ceremony will be held for the first time in Sheffield at the Utilita Arena on 7th February 2024. One of the most exciting categories this year is the Best Gospel Act supported by Premier Gospel.
This category represents a wide array of talent, from homegrown UK artists to international acts. The nominees include British Gospel artists Annatoria, CalledOut Music, Guvna B, Tofunmi Adorna and Triple O. Nigerian artist Limoblaze also makes an appearance on the list, representing African Gospel music.
These artists have not only delivered stellar music but have also contributed significantly to the growth of Gospel music in their respective regions and beyond. Their nomination underscores the global reach and influence of Gospel music, a genre that sits at the heart of Black music and culture.
The MOBO Awards have always been instrumental in recognising and promoting talent in Black music on a global scale. This year’s gospel category promises to be a thrilling competition between some truly remarkable talents in the industry.
Winners will be revealed on 7 February 2024 – a night that promises to be an exciting celebration of Black culture and music.
