In the past year, Jess Debenham has been crafting her debut album, “Much Better“, inspired by her story of freedom from legalism and people-pleasing through the revelation of God’s grace. This album reflects her journey, with the prayer that the Spirit will bring deeper revelation of God – Father, Son, Spirit – to listeners’ and singers hearts. Recorded live on February 24th 2024, it captures the essence of collective worship, with the latest song releasing on the 12th July 2024!

‘I Am Free’ a vibrant and upbeat pop anthem, is a powerful testimony and celebration of the freedom that Jesus has won for Jess. It delivers a joyful and danceable sound that invites listeners to embrace the fullness of life found in Him. Key themes include freedom in Jesus, the transformative and life-giving nature of knowing Him, and the abundant life that comes from being with Christ. Jess prays that this song will fill people with gratitude for all Jesus has done in their lives, encouraging them to continually say yes to the Holy Spirit as He aligns their hearts with the truth of who Jesus is. As they do, she hopes they will fall more in love with Jesus and experience the freedom and fullness of life that only come from Him.
