Inder Paul Sandhu releases new visuals for ‘Letter To Self’ #TheColindaleTape

Inder Paul Sandhu is a rapper, singer, songwriter and fashion designer based in East London. He gained much success from his breakout single ‘Money Ain’t A Thing’ which received attention from the BBC and Spotify. As if that wasn’t not enough, his single ‘Compromise’ was picked up by DJ Sharad for the Pharrell Williams & Adidas Holi mixtape.

Fast forward to 2019 as his latest single ‘Letter To Self’ is out now. The new track was written by himself & produced by David Kent, Calvin the Food Audio and the man himself Inder Paul Sandhu. The single displays his raw and soulful voice whilst lyrically taking us on a journey of his epiphany about life; he boldly sings “it’s just a bad day, not a bad life.”

When asked about the new single, this is what Inder Paul Sandhu said,

“‘Letter To Self’ – In my personal reflection I realised I had fallen into a very bad habit of writing off a whole day, week or month just because of 1 or 2 bad events that took place or even words that were said to me, which is ludicrous. When I sing ‘Letter To Self‘, it was just a bad day and not a bad life, I’m taking my own personal assessment even deeper. Self talk is a real thing and also a very present thing because it’s ongoing. When a friend of mine or loved one is hurting I try to be there for them, help them see straight, show them love and all that good stuff you know? … I can be very caring and empathetic towards others but not myself, again ludicrous… Self talk is so important man, because when you’re in that black hole in your mind sometimes it’s only you that can pull yourself out of that hole. You gotta be the person YOU need for YOU!”

Letter To Self’ is the first track off Inder Paul Sandhu‘s highly anticipated 2nd EP “The Colindale Tape” which is out on the 16th of January 2020. Inder Paul has been featured on Rapzilla and Gospel Hydration’s 2018 one to watch.
